On the 1 year anniversary of September 11, I sat down and wrote an article.  I mainly wrote it for me and for my grandparents, but my grandmother loved it so much that she submitted it to several newspapers - unbeknownst to me.  It was published in a few of them, and I was really surprised and grateful to her for doing that.  Now that the 10 year anniversary is here and my kids brought home questions about where I was when September 11, 2001 happened, I dug up the article and decided to share it with all of you as well as update it a bit.  So, here is the original article as well as an update at the bottom.  I hope you enjoy it.

We have owned several homes – including rental properties – and we’ve lived in apartment buildings.  During my time out on my own, I’ve had my house broken into.  I’ve come home to find the door wide open, my tv and other valuables missing, and the fear that suddenly set in that someone had violated my house, my personal space, and had their hands in and on my belongings.  It is a very, very scary feeling – and one that can make you extremely angry.  After that, I have been a firm believer in alarm and home security systems.

They are not just for rich people, they are not just for people that have tons of expensive or valuable items, they are not just for people that have cash laying around their house – they are for a piece of mind in knowing that your house, your belongings, and your family are all safe.  They are to let you know that someone is there to watch your back when you’re away or even just sleeping.  We currently have an ADT alarm system on our house and we love it.  It gives us a great piece of mind knowing that our home is protected when we are here or not – that someone is always watching our back and protecting our stuff, our house, and our family.

For those that have not considered an alarm or home protection system, the time to get one is not after someone breaks in but before.  In these hard times, people can get more bold when it comes to stealing and breaking into a house.  Don’t wait for this to happen to you – they take more than just your belongings.  For those considering an alarm or system for home security sherwood Texas, make sure that you take a look at ADT and what they offer.  They can work with your cable company, such as Direct TV, in making sure that your home is always safe and secure.  Don’t waste any more time, find out about a home security system in your area today.

I watch the news and after hearing about the fires around Texas, especially the Austin area, it breaks my heart to hear that there are some people who have already lost their lives.  Not that long ago around my area there were some massive wildfires that were deliberately set that consumed thousands of acres, homes, and lives.  A lot of these homes were all around some of our family, we were lucky that our families homes were saved, even though people that had lived around them for decades suddenly lost everything. So, normally I will give anything a shot to play it through at least a couple of levels until I can form a better opinion on the game. But, this time, well, I did not make it past the first level before I knew that this was one of the worst games that I have ever played – for several reasons. Click to read more …

First, this is still a healing or support class – not a tanking class.  While you can play this class as a DPS class, it is still not it’s main goal and you will find yourself overwhelmed if you try to simply go with the DPS version.  But, the good thing about this healing/support class is that this is the only Click to read more …
